Oak North - confirmation of payee

Hi all,
Just set up an Oak North account and been informed by them that they are not yet included in the”confirmation of payee” scheme so therefore I cannot get the usual reassurance when setting up the new payee from my current account - cause for concern or paranoia ? - cheers

Never heard of Oak North. But no lots of smaller banks and build societies don’t use it, just be careful to use correct account numbers for moving money around.

As an extra precaution, you could set up OakNorth as a payee in your current account and pay in £1. Once this appears in your OakNorth account you can transfer larger amounts using the validated payee in your current account.
