For the last few years - we have used Greenflag - but now that is starting to ramp up prices
Is Eversure really as good as it first appears ?
Anyone in the forum have any good or bad experiences of it ?
Last year - we paid almost £120 for 2 drivers / 2 cars
Eversure want half this amount (no excess) inc every option for UK only
Are they underwritten by any large insurance company ?
Their website does not say - but companies house says "INTERWEB MEDIA LTD" - who are they ?
They are covered by the FCA

Sorry, I can't help with Eversure. But Autoaid will cover you and your spouse/legal partner, in any car, for £60 a year. I've been with them for years, and whilst their prices have gone up recently they're still good value if you need "policy-holder and legal partner to drive any car" cover. And I've never had any issues on the times I've needed to call them out.

Another vote for Auto-AidSometimes I wonder...
"why is that frisbee getting bigger?"
...and then it hits me

I have Eversure policy. They came out cheapest. Did not use them yet so can't comment on their service.
I was with AutoAid for many years but then moved to Eversure as AutoAid came out more expensive.
I have only 1 car in family so I don't need driver cover but a car only cover, for which Eversure was cheapest.Happiness is buying an item and then not checking its price after a month to discover it was reduced further.0 -
Hello there, I've also been with Autoaid for many years, as it was the cheapest and best all-round service listed on MSE. As an existing Autoaid customer, I don't qualify for the £6 cashback this year. I have gone to Eversure. I had a question whilst signing up and the customer service I received was excellent - quick and effective communication with a person on the live chat, which was an option after the initial botchat, so this was really pleasing and helpful. This was today, so I (fingers crossed) don't know yet as to the actual service with breakdown, yet the customer service contact experience today is reassuring.0

Used them when i hit a pothole and blew tyre, they arrived and collected the car in 30 minutes ,took me 20 miles to tyre place for replacement.
phone service very good easy to deal with and keep checking that everything was ok.
Autoaid also very good.0 -
EvereSure nightmare.
Buyer beware!
In their policy wording, it clearly states they cover the breakdown of vans but just to make sure I emailed them to make sure. Now things get a little confusing and they say no we do not cover vans and send some screens on a different part of their website. Then when I say ok not any good for me and policy is just about to start they say ok we will refund but charge you an amendment fee 0f £8.50. Rased a complaint about this. If you are thinking of buying with them and they are like this to start I dread to imagine what they are like in a claim position. Update the cancel fee information they did not inform about until already bought the policy in an email. I don't believe this is even legal. One word comes to mind AVOID!0 -
I note a contributor to this thread has two responses only ...both praising Eversure. They joined December 2021, posted within a few moments of joining and nothing before or since. Mmmm, make of it what you will.I can't speak from experience of Eversure but can see they don't offer a phone number to use in the event of a query. Not sure how you call for help if you breakdown, but there must be a method ... it's just that I like the back-up of a voice call when in a difficult situation. I can also see a mix of reviews about them.I must state my own situation ... I've been a member of Autoaid since 1984 and haven't been drawn to the other bunch and it seems unlikely I will.0

Not entirely sure why my comments have been picked up and have prompted the additional post .... which is nothing more and nothing less than an advert for Eversure.
