Joint savings account

hello me and my partner have just moved in together and are looking at getting a joint savings account incase we need repairs in the property, a new washer etc, his credit score is perfect and mine is the absolute opposite. I’m worried if we open a joint one it will affect his credit ☹️ I know with a current account this would be the case, but what about a savings account? I have looked on NatWest and it says this, but does this mean it won’t show up on our credit files and my bad credit rating won’t affect his in any way? I’m worried that we’ll open one and it will have an impact on his credit score. Can anybody confirm this or give some advice please, thank you. 0

Savings accounts
As savings are not a credit product, they don't appear on credit files.2
