3 Year Old CCJ and Mortgage?

Hey, I have a 3 year old CCJ on my file so obviously a rubbish credit score unfortunately! The rest of my file has no red marks and my payment history is perfect - my car will be paid within the next couple of months and then I will no longer have any outstanding ‘debt’ to repay. My Partner is self employed and has a near perfect credit score and we will be doing a joint application for the mortgage. Is it unrealistic to be accepted for a mortgage with a CCJ on my file?

If it's settled, thee should be options.
Lenders assess on credit history, not credit score, so you both need to check your files to get a decent view of how you stand.
Then see a decent broker to place your application correctly.0 -
Credit score is a fictitious number that lenders do not even see. As advised above, it's the history that matters. No free lunch, and no free laptop0

Thanks all for your help. Remainder of my credit file is perfect, never missed a payment on a loan or my car finance, never used more than 25% of credit allowances, on the electoral role etc. And my partners file is also the same (just with no CCJ or any other bad marks). Fingers crossed with all of that, a good broker will be able to find something suitable!0
