Faulty mattress

I bought a mattress in March and also a ottoman base, ( bought from different suppliers)  when changing the sheets  I noticed there was a large spring sticking out of the bottom of the mattress which as caused damage to the base. What are my right re replacement and the damaged caused to the base.

Nearly 8 months in the onus is on you to prove the fault is inherent to manufacture rather than something you've caused.

Have the mattress inspected.  If the broken/erupted spring is deemed to be faulty (as opposed to you breaking it) then the retailer will have to help.
