Disney + Help

Hi all, I need some help but I am aware this is going to be a very stupid, basic question so please be kind!
We have a JVC smart TV, but we only watch via the Virgin box, so basically all we use the JVC remote for is to switch the TV on and off.
We now have Disney + and can watch that on a laptop. 
I know that I can log on the Internet/App on the TV but I have no idea how to exit Virgin and go to the TV menu, and more importantly get back again.
I've goggled and think I need the Input button but no clue which one that is on the remote.
Sorry to be dense, but could someone please assist - I need to exit the Virgin Box, go to the Menu, assume download the Dusney + App. And then go back to Virgin.
I'm an idiot but I have no clue how to do that.

What model do you have. Have you looked at the manual.

As above, what model do you have, and can you post a pic of the (TV) remote?

Thanks for the help, dug out the manual and it's really simple to get to the App store.....but unfortunately Disney + isn't available.
Oh well.

At the risk of sounding stupid as I've no idea how my hubby managed it, we have the Disney+ in our Apps on the TV so maybe give it another go. Maybe search just Disney without the +???

If you don't mind an extra dongle, power brick & remote then an Amazon Firestick has Disney + (and pretty much every other TV streaming service) app. Probably available with heavy discount coming up to Black Friday.
