eesh cant believe iWebs cost to set up is up to £100, used to be £25 18mhts ago unless i'm mistaken
    £100,000 lump sum in funds
    IWeb
    Year 1: £100 + £5
    Year 2 - 10: £0 pa
    Total: £105
    Hargreaves Lansdown
    Year 1 - 10: £450
    Total: £4,500
I wasn't saying iWeb was bad sorry, just surprised the opening account went up so much in price

I'm planning to switch lump sums into iWeb once accrued in Vanguard

One other thing to mention about iWeb. If they don't have a fund it is worthwhile to web chat and ask to put in a request. They have added a couple of funds over the years I queried.

Believe it was £200 before being reduced to £25 a few years ago.

Fidelity offered the same thing for me with an ETF I asked if they can offer it in their list.

I track the investments I hold within iWeb via Morningstar portfolio where I pull all investments together. Would guess Alex means the same or similar.
Yes I use the HL app watchlist (not even a customer) to track my investments on cheaper platforms.
