In middle of transfer from igloo

Hi I wonder if someone could give me advice, just before Igloo energy collapsed I switched supplier so I believe igloo crashed on 3rd of October and I completed transfer to Sainsbury's energy on the 6th of october.i still had 600 pounds in igloo credit am I likely to get this back and who do I ask really worried as a lot of money.thanks Trevor

    Yes you should get the money back from Igloo once a final bill has been done.  I think it was stated on another thread that it can take up to 12 weeks.

    12 months, potentially, or more. The SoLR will typically deal with current customers first and former customers last.

    Supplier of Last Resort, ie. the supplier that you are switched to when your previous supplier goes bust.
    In the case of Igloo, the SoLR is E.ON Next. Your Igloo account will have transferred to them on the 3rd of October. E.ON Next will contact you eventually to arrange the refund of the credit remaining on your Igloo credit.
    Normally your old supplier would be expected to provide a final bill within 6 weeks of your switch away, and to refund any credit balance within a couple of weeks of that. However none of that applies in the case of a SoLR.
