Samsung TV remote (photo)

I got this new (used) tv and looked up the instruction manual online. I was trying to find out how to re-name the input/sources. The guide says to press the ‘tools’ button on the remote. It doesn’t seem to have a tools button. Can anyone help? Which button do they mean?

I should have mentioned that it’s a Samsung UE48H6400AK

Yes, the source button brings up all the sources but to name them, you need to press the tools button. 

The settings button brings up all the settings for picture, sound, network etc.

I read it not as a tools button but as a tools option on the screen that you have to select. But that isn't your remote so it probably doesn't apply to your telly.

There is a 'Tools' icon second along from top right of your Step 2 picture. Select its USING your remote control, rather than 'from'.

On my TV, the only thing on the top right is ‘universal remote setup’. It’s not the same as that screenshot.

Highlight the input source and just hold down the enter button. You should then see the options, including 'Edit Name'.

Assuming it's the right instructions for the tv, it's likely that the remote has been replaced at some point with not quite the right one. 

There are many remotes which will work with Samsung, which is handy, but they often have a couple of buttons different.
