Virgin credit card payment pending - will it be late?

Hi all I have a CC with virgin money and payment is due today. I made the payment yesterday via faster payments (bank transfer) on the app it has come off my balance but shows as pending presumably because it’s the weekend. Does this mean I will have technically made the payment late as it will only clear tomorrow? Thankab

It's unlikely, my DD is a fixed date and sometimes it goes on a weekend and shows as pending until Monday, that said, making faster payments to pay the card on the weekend is a dangerous game to play, pay by direct debit in full every month and you won't have that issue

If it shows s pending then it has gone through. Credit Card systems do not update in real time, other than pending transactions. Debits will come through when system updates. Which could be on Monday.
