Having been recently looking through the popular job sites and supermarket/retailer career sites, this sort of thing is very common.  Mistakes seem to propagate through sites like chinese whispers and even going back to the original source sometimes doesn't help.

There is a standard template used for the same job/employer and then someone is often badly trying to hack it to put their specific requirements in.  Probably an outsourced "recruitment provider"  who in my own experience in a FTSE100 company were incredibly careless.

My own ex employer would fill job ads with about 95% text completely irrelevant to the actual role and good luck trying to make sense of what they were actually looking for.
