L&G investments transfer move to Fidelity disaster!

Mrs Notepad has received letters from L&G regarding the closing of the account and Fidelity to say that they had been transferred. The Fidelity one was received back in September. She didn't have a Fidelity ISA but she did have an existing Fidelity account.0

surprised there's no-one on the forum who had an investment account with L&G who has successfully completed their transfer to Fidelity and able to chime in and say the process works.
It clearly worked for wmb and Mrs Notepad but both had existing accounts with Fidelity which may well have made the difference.
That said, considering so many other posts on the forum concerning delays with many organisations, public and private, it may simply be the case that you'll need to wait another couple of weeks for the transfer to complete.
Have you tried
0333 300 3350 for Fidelity?

Fidelity got back to me basically saying I should have heard something by now so they're going to take a look and get back to me. As I suspected it probably got lost in the post.
(I don't really sit well with the suggestion to just wait and see. This is my money that I have had no access to for about a month. That's not remotely acceptable. If it was YOUR bank account, you wouldn't wear it.)
That said, I'll wait until Monday and see what they say. To be fair it WAS actually L&G that got Fidelity to contact me. Initially L&G support just gave me the Fidelity Freephone number to call because they didn't have a Fidelity email they could give me, then I mentioned "Rip Off Britain" in my reply and about two hours later Fidelity (UK Retail Complaints dept) are back to me saying L&G had told them about my problem and they were getting right on it.

All worked ok for me with the transfer. After LG closed things I didn’t have access to Fidelity for a couple of weeks which was annoying but then got letters - 2 or 3 I think - from fidelity - with all the details I needed to register an account online as I’m new to fidelity and have had access to my account since mid September.Save 12K in 2020. You may have seen in the news that some people have been waiting over three months to receive their state pension. In some cases they need it to live off. So things could be worse.
