Free rooms for Mary and Joseph

Travelodge are giving away a free room to couples named Mary and Joseph between 24th December and 5th January. :rotfl:

My fiance and nearly i qualify as those are our middle names but apparently couples have to be married. I emailed them to ask if they could bend the rules but i havent had a reply yet.

I would be interested to hear if anyone gets it. Email: Christmas@travelodge.co.uk for bookings. You are also asked for proof of name, such as driving licence, passport, etc...

  • May be worth a trip to the register office.

How much is it to change your name?

In the small print it also says, that if Mary is "with child",and they are prepared to name him Jesus, then they will be upgraded to the stable block!

    Merry Christmas everyone;)

Engaged when first found out she was preggers, then married soon thereafter.

So married when in the stable, then.

    thats a shame!
Will they start offering free rooms on other religious dates to people called Mohammad, Allah etc (just to keep those happy before they start complaining of their rights)?
  • "Pairs with the right names will get a night's stay on the house at a Travelodge hotel from Christmas Eve to January 5 2008. Claimants will have to be married and will also have to register on a special email address and then send proof of identity."
A smile and manners doesnt cost any thing
