“Voltex” - a Scam?

Saw an advert for Voltex and looked up comments on this forum and Trustpilot.
It seems apparent that their claims don’t stack up.
If this is so, how are they allowed to advertise so convincingly/freely and post claims from “satisfied customers”?
With the current crisis in energy bills, it is even more important people are protected from scams.
Not sure if Martin has already debunked them?

  • …..by the way, I saw this advertised on the “Naked Scientists” website, obviously giving them a lot more credibility.

There's already at least one thread debunking this.

This seems like a good thread to mention the device we are intending to market that only allows 'Green Electricity' into your property and filters out all the nasty electricity generated by coal/oil/gas. To satisfy the Aldermaston/Greenham Common/CND activists a later version will filter out all electricity generated by nuclear generators; especially that coming from France.

Any ideas for  a brand name? 'Gretameter' or 'Borismeter'

Even Octopus claim to have separate power lines direct from their green sources to each customers home - in order to claim that their customers benefit from 100% green energy

No chance. If you close down one supplier, another will immediately pop up selling the same thing with a different name on the box.

These things are usually shipped in from China, and the manufacturer will print any name you like on them.
    If it sticks, force it.
If it breaks, well it wasn't working right anyway.
  • Amazon even sells them - from £11.99 but the number of user reports is extremely limited
