Good Morning all,
Bella, very sorry to hear about your uncle.
RRuby, good idea to ask about the wages. Not much to report here, I am feeling very drained as had an SOS this morning to say mum had fallen over. The understanding is that she shouldn’t leave her bed unless carers are with her, but trying to get the elderly parents to remember is difficult. I think we will be having the difficult conversation soon of the next level of care required. I cannot be on call 24/7 as I am not strong enough to manage.
OS for today? I have an easy dinner which only needs reheating. Apart from this, nothing else planned, except for receiving parents groceries and taking up to them, plus sorting out their medications, and speaking with my sister this afternoon to discuss care.
Take care all.

Good morning all,
Sat outside the dentist at the moment, waiting to go on for my 10am appointment🙄 I'm having a filling although I'd be happier if they'd just take the tooth out, it's been playing up for about 2 years.
I have finally done the ironing, no other plans than a bit of cleaning today.
Have a good day x10 -
Aaagh. The cinnamon buns are in the oven but I've just realised that I forgot to switch out the beater for the dough hook so goodness knows what they are going to be like. They smell nice!
I forgot that I had to walk Ziggy too so that has been crossed off the list.
Chris rang to say he didn't feel well yesterday so he did 2 LFT's this morning which were both positive. Hopefully he will have a mild case because he's had it once and is double jabbed. We saw him last Thursday so I did a test which was negative, fingers crossed it will continue. Steve is on the golf course so he'll do one when he gets back.12 -
The TV engineer has been and gone and has fixed the problem so I'm happy with that. Then I saw that there was a walk-in clinic in town for the COVID booster so I took myself off there. All done in 20 minutes, 15 of which was the post-jag waiting. I'm so pleased that it's done.Snoozer - sorry to read about Chris and glad that you are negative.Bella - your bad news is sad, condolences from me.Peony - does your DM have a fob alert from Social Services? They also have fall fobs.Dark skies coming in, it maybe time to light the stove.9

Late one from me ...just been catching up while eating my tea.
Eldest DD in Germany rang before I left for work to say she'd had a positive lateral flow test so she was going for a PCR. A girl at work went in a couple of days ago even though she'd had a positive test - so all their team were sent home! Of course this girl tested positive on the PCR too... some people are so stupid! DD is disappointed because she was to go to London for work next Tuesday and was going to try to pop home for a couple of days.
Then youngest DD rang to say her lips had swollen overnight! She went up to the hospital and got tablets for an allergic reaction - who knows to what as she said she's had nothing different. They've gone down quite a bit now - looked very painful this morning.
Florenceem - that's a good harvest!
Going to wash up and then have a nice bath12 -
