Dominos Pizza Delivery Insurance ???

Help please. Our 20+ year old son who has comprehensive SDP Insurance as a named driver with us as parents and me as the registered owner. He now wishes to do a part-time zero hours job as a delivery driver for Dominos to help pay bills whilst he is at Uni. Dominos are only offering 3rd party insurance and we assume our comprehensive insurance will not cover him at the time of delivering pizzas. So a couple of questions 1. Can you be named legally on 2 insurance policies at the same time for the same car ? 2. If we transfer the car over to him and he becomes the Registered Legal owner, how can our he get "comprehensive" car insurance to cover him to deliver pizzas and what is this insurance called "Business" "hire and reward" "Commercial" ??? Any help or advice most welcome...(PS: We assume that most Delivery Dominos drivers are just using the 3rd party insurance and risking their cars !!)

1) Yes
2) Hire and Reward - be prepared for a very large number though!
There is at least 1 H&R motor policy that is available as an add on on a "pay as you go basis"... ie you turn it on in the app and pay for that day and then turn it off until the next day you are working... the cost per day is higher than a 365 hire and reward policy but cheaper if you are only doing a couple of days a week or possibly decide after a month its not for you.
Most delivery people around here (central London) are done on scooters and so the value of the vehicle at risk by only having TPO cover is significantly less0 -
Thanks for your answer - however, it appears that there isn't a PAYG "Hire and Reward" Insurance company that will cover Dominos......Unless someone can find one ???0

Zego is the most common one - though dont take that as a recommendation.
I believe they require you to do work with at least one of their partners (Deliveroo etc) but not sure if you can also do work for those not on the list - the list relates to those they've integrated into the app such that they are notified by the company when you are on and off the clock rather than you having to remember to turn on the insurance.0 -
Having checked, Zego do not work with Dominos. Are there any Competitors out there that allow Dominos ?0
