Buyer didn't pay postage .. What to do next

I sold an item a couple of days ago with an additional £3.20 to cover postage, but for some reason, the buyer only paid the purchase price.
I asked when they were collecting the item, having seen they are over 200 miles from my location.
They replied asking me to invoice separately for the postage, but I don't know how to do this. Tomorrow I'll try to contact ebay for their advice, but was wondering whether anybody here can help, as sometimes getting through to ebay is difficult.
