Changing Credit from owing to settled

Does settling my Bills fully that are overdue and changing the status on my credit report to settled improve my overall score
If not how can i take unpaid bills off my credit report

Please read the sticky thread at the top of this forum about "what your credit score really means".
Your "score" is a marketing tool only, and goes up or down with any change, good or bad, no you cannot remove credit accounts from your credit file, only time will do that.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the Debt free wannabe, Credit file and ratings, and Bankruptcy and living with it boards.
