This one in John Lewis is within our budget too…is this better TV than above too?Is LG better brand or Samsung?
What is a better TV?
You see, so much of this comes down to choice. I'm a big fan of Panasonic TV, so if I had the £800ish budget for a large screen TV, I'd prefer to plump for this (with the £100 cash back):

That, of course, is prioritising brand over screen size, but that would be my choice.
I don't say that your choice is wrong, or that you should change your choice, I'm simply showing how it is so much a personal preference thing it is hard for anyone to really say which TV is "better".
FWIW, of the Samsung in the OP and the LG, the LG has Freeview Play and I'd choose that one for that reason. You may feel Freeview Play is an absolute waste and value some other feature more. Who knows?
I also won't be buying a large screen TV of any kind for a long time as I have nowhere to put such a thing - our TV is 40" because that's that largest to fit in the gap.1 -

Also depends what you will be watching, or mainly gaming etc.
it will be mainly used for watching TV, movies
Can you suggest any other better deals in range of £800-900… I’m not choosy about any specific brand
Best review is you going to a shop that sells it or similar range and having a play (even a 55 in the same range would be a good indication if the 75 is not on display but it will give you an idea). If you are getting a good deal with an employee program and you are happy with it then that is up to you.
Personally I have never seen a picture that betters OLED but that costs especially at 75". Meaning I am not good for advice unless you want to empty your bank account.
But best bet to see what they score like on something like rtings.com or pop over to AV forums and look through reviews there. What HiFi also review TV's. Features should be explained and might find a few nuggets of info that help you along.
Edit. Be wary of people trying to sell you expensive new cables to go with the TV. It is a con a lot of the time especially with newer TV's having later HDMI sockets. There is a standard for HDMI cables and a basic well made correctly labelled 3' version at £8 will do exactly the same as one costing £80.
