Help with competition

I'm not sure if this is legit or not. It was on a newsletter from Offer Oasis (I'm never 100% sure about them - not that I think they're scammers, more that I'm never sure they're worth the trouble). Anyway, the comp is with Uniqlo. I can't find an end date or any T&C. It could be because of my ad blocker or that it's not a real comp with any set date. I've checked (I can do this now - hooray) and it's not posted here (up to 11 am 19/10).

Can anyone else see an end date and any T&C?

The fact that they appear to be giving away 5000 items, minimum £7.90, raises alarm bells, that's £39,500!

Cant see anything either. I thought I would fill in the form to see if the T's & C's are displayed after, but I am not going to continue as you have to collect the T-Shirt from 1 of 3 stores; 311 Oxford Street, Manchester or Oxford Westgate. All of which would be too far for me to colllect a T-shirt from.

I got this on the Uniqlo newsletter so think it's legit! Uniqlo have done things like this before - I have a couple of thermal shirts from them from similar giveaways/product launches.

My instinct is also that they're legit as a company. I guess it's more that the format isn't the right fit for MSE, with no clear end date or T&C. I'm glad you won a couple of nice goodies from them. Thank you for commenting.

UNIQLO HEATTECH SAMPLING TERMS AND CONDITION

1. The programme is open to all UK residents aged 18 years or over, except employees

of the Promoter, their families, agents or any third party directly associated with

administration of the programme.

2. The programme is free to participate and no purchase is necessary.

3. Participants must register on the dedicated page

(https://www.uniqlo.com/uk/en/content/sampling.html) and complete the form,

submitting their personal information, desired sample and size, and the preferred store

for collection. Multiple entry is not permitted.

4. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for entries not successfully completed due to

a technical fault of any kind.

5. Winners will be chosen by random draw performed by a computer process by [DATE].

6. Winners will receive one (1) free sample product from the HEATTECH EXTRA WARM

COTTON range, subject to availability at the selected store of the Promoter. One

winner will win a personal shopping experience worth GBP/EUR 500 with the Promoter

(“Grand Prize Winner”).

7. The winners will be notified by email (using details provided at entry) and must select

a store for the collection of their prize.

8. The winner will receive a confirmation of the chosen store for collection by email and

thereafter, must visit the chosen store to claim the prize by 31 October 2021.

9. The Grand Prize Winner will be notified by email and must contact the Promoter to

arrange the personal shopping experience. Such personal shopping experience must

take place by 30 November 2021.

10. The prize for the winner is non-exchangeable, non-transferable and no cash alternative

is offered.

11. The Promoter reserves the right to replace the prize with an alternative prize of equal

or higher value if circumstances beyond the Promoter's control makes it necessary to

12. The decision of the Promoter regarding any aspect of the programme is final and

binding and no correspondence will be entered into about it.

15. The Promoter reserves the right to hold void, cancel, suspend, or amend the promotion

where it becomes necessary to do so.

16. Insofar as is permitted by law, the Promoter, its agents or distributors will not in any

circumstances be responsible or liable to compensate the winner or accept any liability

for any loss, damage, personal injury or death occurring as a result of taking up the

prize except where it is caused by the negligence of the Promoter, its agents or

distributors or that of their employees. Your statutory rights are not affected.

17. By submitting the entry, participants agree to assign to the Promoter all intellectual

property rights with full title guarantee and waive all moral rights in and to the entry

under applicable intellectual property legislation.

18. Personal data supplied during the course of this promotion will only be processed as

set out in the Promoter's privacy policy (https://www.uniqlo.com/uk/en/info/privacypolicy.html). See also condition 13 with regard to the announcement of winners.

19. The programme will be governed by English law and entrants to the programme submit

to the jurisdiction of the English courts.
