I would be reheating it in a Microwave0 -
I wouldn’t keep rice for a week in the fridge a couple of days is fine but reheat thoroughly freezing for a few weeks is fine once again reheat well. It’s important to cool the cooked rice as quickly as possible then get it in the fridge or freezer.1

My understanding is that the possible bacteria are only a problem if the cooked rice is left out at room temperature. If you're not going to eat it immediately then cool it quickly before freezing or keep in the fridge just for a day. The NHS advice would seem to bear this out.
I freeze brown rice and HM pilau because I find it easier to cook a large batch than cook from scratch each time. White rice is simple and quick so I don't bother with that.
I portion it up and microwave from frozen when needed.0 -
Bacillus Cereus is the problem when storing rice. My advice is to cook less and sling what is left.It ain’t worth getting ill.0

Rice became known as a problem when it was left sitting warm for ages in buffets or even rewarmed for hours the next day. The bacteria don't grow really really rapidly in the 2 or 3 minutes it is reheating in the microwave! Cooking it, cooling it a few days in the fridge or longer in the freezer and reheating it is fine. It's sold that way in packets of microwave ready cooked rice or readymeals.
