It is unfortunate that you didn't come here first, as you've fallen into the trap of assuming you had to file your defence via MCOL - you didn't. You could have had a much better defence (in content as well as format) if you'd submitted it as a PDF via email to the CCBC. (After doing the AoS then MCOL should be treated as read-only - nothing else should be done online via MCOL except to track your filing/claim history).
(Your statement of truth is also way out of date BTW).
