Morning all, we've had heavy rain here all morning so far, got wet through on the very short dog walk & ended up washing my hair as it was so wet it would have needed drying anyway!Dumpling glad you're feeling brighter already.Camelot hope it's negative.Ruby, what a shame you're being made to feel so bad. I hope you can follow up the suggestions here and get some help- big hugs.Looks like it's a staying in day again, will do some ironing and finish off some more cards. I had a visit from DB yesterday, and a nice chat with a friend, made a big pan of chicken soup with the carcass of weekends chicken, and taken a small gammon joint out for tea that's been in the freezer a while.Take care everyone xx:heartsmil 'A woman is like a teabag: You never know her strength until you drop her in hot water'. Good Morning,
RedRuby, I am so sorry that your workplace are putting you through this. I echo everyone else’s advice to definitely contact ACAS and have someone with you at meetings.
Thinking of everyone else too.
Not much going on here, in the throes of deep cleaning the master bedroom with the help of DH, and then I will make a start on deep cleaning the sitting room. I like to give the place a deep clean ready for December.I got my dates all wrong so need to use up both sausages and braising beef today, so will probably have sausages tonight and then cook the braising beef today ready for the next two days.Need to return to putting the bed back together, please wish us luck!Take care all.

Good afternoon all,
Shockingly wet here at the moment so I put my wet weather gear on and went for a walk, still got soaked. Still I waxed my walking boots whilst they were still damp.
Still haven't done the ironing and don't really feel like doing it today either, good thing I have far too many clothes
I hope you get some good advice Red Ruby, your employers seem very unfeeling.
Have a good day x8 -
Good afternoon everyone
Been away for a while, real life got in the way. I have separated and moved into a rented cottage with my DS. Coped well for a while but ended up being signed off sick as struggled and had a bit of a breakdown with all the stress. I’m now getting stronger and coping better. DS2 is still struggling with his mental health but has managed to get a new job where his boss is great. I did go away for a few days in the sun, did me the world of good, lots of walking, resting and relaxation. Very Covid secure place.
redruby - I have no further advice to give other than stick to what you want and what’s best for you and your health. Thinking of you.
Dumpling - hope the antibiotics start to work.
Camelot hope you feel better soon.
Hugs to anyone that needs/wants one. Take care12 -
Just had a catch up whilst eating my tea.
Redruby - hope you get things sorted with work - they're being very unreasonable. Try not to worry too much - easier said then done!
Gers - little one stood at my bedroom window for ages the other night watching a beautiful sunset. She was fascinated by it and kept saying 'look at the pretty sky granny.'
Well I got my hair cut this morning - I'm looking rather white so I'm off to put some dye on!
take care everyone9 -
Topsy, I know you were having a difficult time, I hope things will continue to get better for you and DS now.
I went to Cambridge this morning for the first time in nearly a couple of years. It was quite depressing really, a lot of closed shops with rough sleepers mattresses and sleeping bags in the doorways. The shops were very quiet, I even went into a couple without a mask because they were completely empty (I didn't buy anything, I'd have put my mask on if I'd gone to a till). I got E a fire engine and helmet for his birthday, he is obsessed with them at the moment.
