Tesco vouchers at Hungry Horse Deal but not drinks

As with most of these loyalty-voucher schemes there are loads of exclusions.
Recently had our 1st Hungry Horse meal and were attracted to the Curry Night deal (£6.50 incl deal drinks). Bought two meals and ordered two pints of deal beers but found the drinks were not included if you use vouchers so had to buy meals at £6.50 each without drinks.
Still cheap grub but annoying.

The terms are listed on the Tesco site.
"Codes can be used as full or part payment for food only from our main menu, breakfast menu, Sunday menu and children’s menu. Please show your code(s) to your server before ordering.Codes can't be used in conjunction with any other voucher or discount.
Codes can't be used for drinks, merchandise, gift cards, or left as a tip."

Quite clear you can't use them for drinks.
