Trying to find a loft hatch cover. Help please.

So my 80yr old neighbour has found his synthetic loft hatch cover is breaking apart. He needs a new one but can't find it online. Contacted the manufacturer and they no longer make it.
I'm hoping someone can come up with some ideas as he's no longer keen on making another himself with the getting up step ladders etc.
Here is the larger one he added when the house was built 20yrs ago - plus hinged holders and handles he put on when installing a loft ladder.

This is the one in my place which may also do - they have form insulation attached to the back of the hatches.

He's tried local handymen but they don't come through with the goods. Bit of a nightmare with booked up tradesmen around here.
Would anyone know where he could find a replacement? Length 79cm and Width 66cm. With surround included.
Would be very grateful for any info to stop him climbing unnecessarily.
I can rise and shine - just not at the same time!

Sorry, just after some clarification. Is it the loft hatch itself you’re looking to replace? Or the insulating cover on the loft-side of it?1

The loft hatch itself Es55.But that will need to replace the surround so it fits I'm thinking. Please ask away - I'd love to get a soloution and not have him balancing on step ladders!

There's this one, which is a quite a bit smaller than the dimensions you've given -

But there are various other manufacturers and retailers, so it will be a case of finding the best option which needs the least amount of making good.

There are plenty of companies that made made to measure loft hatchs. Have a google. I paid about £150, which I thought was a little steep, but it is a good hatch - as far as a hatch can be good - and is insulated and what not.
Fitting it was a doddle.
Yes you could make it yourself for much less, but you have to decide what to focus your energy on.1 -
Thank you both. That's a great start.
I'll pass the suggestions on and see what the response is.
He's always been a money saver and very skilled but when you get older you'd like someone else to do some things I've found.I can rise and shine - just not at the same time!
