Amex cancel card after bonus

Hi All
Currently have a Amex card and looking of opening a BAPP for the bonus points.
Anyone know how Amex views customers who cancel quickly after hitting the bonus spend target? 1-3 months after opening?
Do they they cancel any points earned or other cards held with them etc?
Thanks

Never had a problem doing this and I was card churning for years. Be aware that they've tightened the rules so if you have a points-earning card you can't get another bonus for 2 years.

    Maybe yes maybe no

No one will have a definite answer for you.

They (amex) probs expect half will cancelling it after hitting the bonus, and hope that with the 2 years rule people will stay.

Not with the BAPP they haven't - if you haven't had a BA card then you're fine.
