Visa Account Updater - repeat fraud

Firstly this is my first post ever so please bear with me.
A fraudster used my credit card details. Included in this was using my credit card details in their Google Play account. Visa Account Updater automatically updated my Google Play account with the new card details (I had no idea about VAU at this point) but has also updated the fraudster's Google Play account aswell and they have attempted transactions again. How do I unsubscribe from the updater? Barclaycard can't and neither can Google. I'd be grateful for any help, thanks.

You need to get hold of the right people at Barclaycard and have them re-issue a card this time blocking the VAU request from going to Visa.

Fraud team at your bank, should be blocking the old card from VAU as part of the process when you are reporting the fraud. When the retailer is known use the system.

If it happens again raise a complaint. As someone needs a kick up the backside for their failure.

Just check again next month around the same time..
