Ring Doorbell

I was tempted into an offer to buy a ring doorbell (along with an Echo dot), now after receiving it I need some advice what to do.  I am wanting it hard wired ideally, so what else do I need to buy for this?  Also before installation is the Ring doorbell the best on the market or are there worthy other ones to consider? Thanks.

to hard wire it (so you don't need to charge it) you need one of these

for the ring tone itself, can this be linked to all echo's in the house, so when the doorbell goes they all make a sound?

Depends on your preferences and needs... Amazon does Ring, Google does Nest Hello. Plenty smaller companies offer their own solutions too.

Personally went the Nest route as didnt want battery operated and most reviews at the time of Ring Pro -v- Nest gave it to Google. Thankfully our transformer for our existing doorbell was sufficient for Nest's needs but many in the UK arent.

if you already have an echo then yeah it will chime. so will your phone if you set it to
