During a recent tidy up at home I discovered that I still have some travellers cheques from the 1990s. I have tried to redeem that at my bank, but they refused.
I got the same response from the Post Office and from a travel agent. Where can I get them redeemed ?

we had both barclays and american express ones. the Barclays ones were redeemed in the bank, once they found someone who knew what they were lol.
the american express ones we had to contact them and after some proof of who we were etc via a video link they credited them back to us

Link to American Express page to redeem TCs online. https://www.americanexpress.com/uk/travel/travellers-cheques/I also discovered that Eurochange will accept AE travellers cheques. Apparently they stopped doing so, but recently restarted. I'll be heading there tomorrow with mine.0

You could always frame them and hang them on the wall ,would make an interesting talking point for visitors.2

The last time I exchanged Travellers' Cheques was in Cambodia. Probably they still accept them there.

We used some AMEX travellers cheques dated appx 1990 on our honeymoon in Honolulu in 2015. By chance a restaurant presented the bill in a faux leather wallet thing with "We accept AMEX Travellers Cheques" inscribed on it.

Are they also marked as American Express? I have just cashed in some with Lloyds Bank plus AE on them at Eurochange. They were happy to take them as long as they did also say AE. The lady who dealt with them had never had to deal with travellers cheques, had problems with her computer hanging, and had to do all the work over the phone to another office. She remained smiling and cheerful throughout. That's good customer service and I came away with over £120 - happy days.
