Upcoming ESA Phone Assessment - Worried

Hello,
I'm back again, I've still not had my assessment.. I'm on the 6th cancelled appointment lol.
I'll try and explain what's going on, the assessment centre have cancelled 4, 3 of which was because they booked the assessment with men when I'd asked for a woman and one they never called me to say it was cancelled, then I cancelled one so I could get help with the ESA50.. I'll come to the 6th cancellation in a min, so when I sent the ESA50 in, it seemed to trigger something and I received a call from the assessment centre, he said they'd received my updated ESA50 and that they had requested further information from my GP and said that I could either go ahead with the assessment on the 22nd or I could cancel it and wait until they have my GP's info, so I spoke to my son and I ended up opting to wait.
I posted on the benefit and work forum about it and one of the mods on there thought that I may have sent a good ESA50 in and that they might be wanting to do a paper base assessment but need info from my GP to clarify things stated on the ESA50. I obviously have no idea and not getting my hopes up.
I tried to do as advised by various people with the use of the benefits and work guide which was very detailed.
I do have a question though, if you make a mistake on the form, say for example you've ticked the wrong option, is there anyway to correct it once the form has been sent? I think I may have ticked something wrong, I need my son to go through the form for me and check it, it could just be me overthinking it as usual.
Thanks in advance0 -

Mention it at the assessment ?Alice Holt Forest situated some 4 miles south of Farnham forms the most northerly gateway to the South Downs National Park.1 -
Ahh ok, thanks, wasn't sure if I needed to mention it before hand hence me asking

As Alice suggests, mention it at the assessment. I would say something at the very start of the conversation, along the lines of "Can you please check what I ticked on x question. I've a feeling I may have ticked the wrong box". They won't then be able to claim that you only changed something once challenged.

I didn't realise you could do it at the assessment, I thought it would have to be done before hand, but I'll make a note to do this when I have the assessment.

Hello
Just wanted to update quickly and say thanks to those that responded to me.
Firstly in regards to mistakes on your form, I was advised by the assessment centre to state them in a letter and send it to them so they could attach it to my file for the assessor to see but I didn't need to do this in the end, my son who has been dealing with the assessment centre with my consent received an email stating that after the HCP had looked at my filed again along with the GP's info, that I didn't need to have an assessment, they've sent a report over to the DWP so it's just a matter of waiting to hear from them now.
Thanks again, hope you all have a lovely Christmas1 -

They (DWP) could take a while to take a decision but likely it will fall into line with the advice the assessment company has sent in their report.
You could, if you wanted to, request from the DWP (phone call to number on top ESA letters will do) a copy of that report which I believe will be an ESA85A rather than ESA85 that is a full report version.

That's ok, I'm currently getting legacy ESA but I'm in WRAG, hoping they'll switch me to SG, but we'll see
Thanks for replying
