Do you need to print out the passenger locator form for the UK or is it enough to have it on your phone. I'm staying with friends who have a temperamental printer.

It is ok to have this on your phone.  You just need to be able present and show the completed document upon request (normally at airline checkin or gate).  Once completed on line you can download the completed form on to your phone. You also get an email and the completed form as an attachment.

When we did ours in Cyprus you had to include your passport number and when we arrived home the Border Control Officer told us that the info was part of our passport and that was all we had to show.
  • Digital copy is fine , as long as your phone doesn’t go flat.
  • Thanks everyone
