Hi all I paid an unsecured loan off in full on the 1st of October when will my credit file be updated it’s still showing the full balance. Is it worth ringing the loan company up or will it do it on it’s own? Thanks.

The loan company will do it during their next cycle of notifications and then the CRAs update their files, it could take a couple of months.Mortgage started 2020, aiming to clear 31/12/2029.0

Shame I wanted it showing paid in full for a mortgage application 🙄MovingForwards said:The loan company will do it during their next cycle of notifications and then the CRAs update their files, it could take a couple of months.0 -
Provided you have proof it's paid off, tick the box on the application to say it will be cleared before the mortgage starts or get your broker to do it.
