I think you should contact them to check to be on the safe side well done if you have won

I've just phoned them & they are going to check for me, not sure if it's a book or a CD Rom but either way it would be perfect for my DD as she loves science!

yeah, you should email them - the comp ended on the 12th oct so they've had plenty of time to send out your prize.

Same thing happened to me. I won a prize and was never informed about winning! I only saw it by chance cause, like you, I googled my name...
I really recommend googling your own name from time to time to make sure you don't miss out!!
