There's no "cut off" as such. Pensions of up to £85 per week are disregarded. For every £1 over this amount the ESA is reduced by 50p. He will of course need to report the pension when he claims NsESA.

There is an effective cut off. A pension of roughly £235 per week would 'nil' and actual payment.

That is only correct during the assessment phase. Based on Support Group payment of £114.10/week the ’cut off’ would be £313.40/week (£114.10 x 2 plus £85).TELLIT01 said:There is an effective cut off.
