Failed car part after 3 months

I bought 6 x ignition coil packs for my car from EuroCarParts in July this year. It’s a consumable part but should last a good few years. One has failed already. This was confirmed by swapping it around with a different one, and the fault went with it to a different cylinder. Do I have any right for a refund or replacement item?
thought I’d ask here so I know for sure before asking the shop assistant

Sounds more like you have an underlying problem that's causing the premature failure of your ignition coils. Worth looking at your spark plugs.2

as the misfire moved with the coil the coil is at fault ,eurocarparts are normally ok with warranties so you should be ok

Thanks people, I should of said it had 6 new plugs at the same time as the coil packs. I’ll pop in early this week and try for a refund

Hi all
Ive been back to ECP and was told without the actual printed paper invoice that was given to me when I bought the part then no refund. I had all my details on my phone, including the email receipt and order number to hand, plus I could obviously verify any ID questions they may of asked.
Was told 'if its older than a couple of days, then we have no record of it' by the least helpful member of staff Ive ever met
Were they right in what they said?0 -
Letter to before action probably required ands if that doesn't work then you need to decide whether chasing it is worth the hassle.0
