Internet Explorer problem

Hi,

I've just started having problems today using Internet Explorer (XP SP2).

Web pages load a bit slow and then they freeze. I then have to use Task Manager to close them down.

If I start Internet Explorer without add-ons I do not have any problems accessing web sites but I cannot watch videos on YouTube or listen to Radio programs for example.

I am running AVG Free anti virus which is upto date. A scan of the computer showed no problems.

Can anybody advise me how to proceed from here.

thanks

Gerardty

    Which version of Internet Explorer?

Just waiting for the "download and install firefox/opera" brigade.

well done, but speaking as a newly converted mozolla fan, you really ought to take a look. As the guys said on my thread, you could run them both.

Or go and try Apples Safari...... It cuts down loading times on this site by at least half for me and with the latest update now includes all the things I missed with IE7.. (Message preview when you put your mouse on a thread header and using my mouse button as a back button)
