Got my Octopus tariff today and it shows an increase of about 50% on what I paid Avro. i guess that is why Avro went bust. But I'm a bit confused on the subject of the Energy Cap. How can I find out what my Cap should be and if I'm paying over or under it?

You will be paying very slightly less than dictated by the cap.
