Weswap trouble

This a developing narrative but I am having horrendous difficulties recovering money from weswap; in addition, I would urge anyone not to deal with weswap given the appalling and stressful experience we are currently going through and once I have taken legal consultation on this I will post agin to let you know of progress but please take this post as a warning

Mmm..curiouser and curiouser; since the above and a talk with the FCA who were enormously helpful, I need to make a couple of more phone calls and I want to be careful about what was said in terms of the old company and new company (now weswap 2.0).  However, I do get a feeling that I’m going to have pursue legal channels to get money back because I don’t get a good feeling from what I heard and what has gone on here. I’ll let you know more when I do - truly distressing to go through and I hope nobody else suffers at their hands

I was unable to use my WeSwap 2.0 card on a recent trip to Crete and also failed to have my funds returned to me via the app.  After emailing Alice at WeSwap the money has been returned after a couple of weeks wait.
I hope that this product will recover as the idea is great and they may just be victims of the collapse of travel following the pandemic.

I also had my money refunded today from Julia.  I’m sad as I also thought it was great.  Let’s hope they can rebrand and start again
