What's it about?

Ikea's offering the traditional Ikea cafe food, meatballs, for £1 Monday to Friday after 6pm until 23 December (this is for 10 meatballs). Also on offer for £1 is Pasta with Tuscan bean sauce.

Combine this with the free Tea and Coffee (don't forget you get free refills) if you have Ikea's Family card and there you go - supper for a Pound!

Plus, if you have a baby remember to pick up one jar of baby food for every main meal you buy - you get it free if you have the family card!

Does it apply everywhere?

The offer's available at all IKEAs except Coventry, Edinburgh and Belfast.

Went to Brent Park last night, but rather dismayed to see no signs about this, so thought maybe we needed a voucher or something. OH asked, and although the assistant thought we were right, she had to ask 2 colleagues to confirm.

Got the £1 meatballs in Ikea Croydon last night (11th Feb)with my Family card. Offer only on the small meatballs. But stil cheaper to buy 2 small than 1 medium or large.

So 2 meatball meals, 2 teas with free refills cost £2. We were going anyway so I think that's a bargain.
