Credit card debt , advise needed re payment plans

Was in a situation where I managed to get myself into some debt with Credit cards (around 5k or so) and entered into payment plans with the Credit card providers about a year ago. 

Now I find myself in a situation where I am still far from being well off but I have a couple hundred a month more available than I did this time last year, I could feasibly come off of the payment plan with some of my Credit cards but wanted to know, if I do come off the plan I presume the payment plan will still show on my credit file for the usual term? (i believe this is 6 years), I would like to start to rebuild my credit score and trying to go about it as smartly as possible, thank you

Yes, the arrangement will show for 6 years, but it loses impact the further it moves into the past.

Don't worry about the change in your score when you go back to full payments, as lenders will see you more positively.

Thanks, I have had a look at what I owe and I think it may be wise for me to put some cash aside and pay a large lump sum to each Credit card provider once I have put enough aside and then go back to full payments, at the moment the interest is frozen on the accounts and if they unfreeze this then I think I will quickly end up racking up more debt
