Day 2 Lateral Flow tests - Im landing on 23rd

If these are day 2 tests then does this mean that I can order one on the 22nd to arrive in time before the day 2 limit?
Am I correct that the passenger locator can be filled any time in the 48 hours before I arrive in the UK. So I could order the new test and then the form all in time?
Any advice would be great. Thanks!

You can order a day 2 test now. However government requirements are likely to change for half term. Yes PLF in last 48hrs before arrival. I have ordered for delivery on day 1 after arrival on 25th

So I guess I cant get the cheaper lateral flow tests as I'm not arriving after the 24th? My thinking was because the 24th would be within the 2 days of me landing.0

I'm landing from Spain back into the UK on the 22nd just before midnight. I guess I still need to do the PCR day two test by ordering it before the 22?
