Thought this was a useful link for those needing to remove old NSHs. The three columns list 1) heaters known to contain asbestos, 2) others that might contain asbestos, and 3) those that definitely don't:

I have a Unidare R10/73 warm air heater sat in a cubboard. Not used anymore since heating upgrade and not really in the way but cupboard could be useful.
Next door had the same and took it out themselves, with help from a plumber.
