Hi all, just arrived home to a letter from the court advising the claim has been struck out and neither part is required to attend the hearing.Slightly confused by the wording as it says the claimant and defendant failed to comply with the last order but either way I believe this a win?
Thanks so much to everyone for all their help given to me on here I honestly couldn’t have got this far without your support!3 -
Well done KTH. I am delighted. As suspected the PPC probably didn't send you or the court the witness statement required in the timescale required. You might want to contact the court and ask them to confirm in writing that it was the claimant failing to comply not the defendant.
Very well done on standing your ground and seeing their scam off. Another one bites the dust.4 -

Have just arrived home from work to a letter from the local county court confirming they have allocated a hearing date of 31st March. The letter states the claim will be struck out if court fee not paid by the claimant by 4PM on 3rd March and I am to provide copies of all documents on which I intend to rely by no later than 28 days before the hearing. Which gives me only one week to sort this out.1 -

Clearly DCBL failed and let UKPC down badly.
Or maybe the courts are sick of the rubbish DCBL/UKPC claims. they do not want their time wasted again2 -
The PPC have wasted your time, now consider wasting theirs, read this

Very pleased to hear this, well done for not giving in.1
