Advice needed. Gloss paint disaster
Savvy_Shopper_1
I’ve just painted a windowsill with gloss paint (after sanding and undercoating perfectly). The problem is the new Harris Gloss Roller had fluff on it which is now embedded in my wet gloss paint.
will sanding, once dry, and repainting resolve this?

Do I sand with wet and dry or just dry sanding paper?
Any advice will be very gratefully received!

This is 'oil-based' paint (ie solvent)? If so, it'll likely take longer than non-solvent to dry sufficiently for it to be sanded back, but - yes - that should sort it.
A light going over with, say, 180 grit should get the surface completely flat. W&D shouldn't be needed, but the real issue is t just make sure it has dried - hardened - enough to be sanded.1 -
When you say you've "just" painted - is it still wet? Any chance you can pick out the fluff with a needle, then go over it again with a clean brush to get a nice smooth surface?

Thanks for the advice guys. There’s way to many to pick out manually - I shall wait until the weekend and see if it’s hardened enough to sand!!1
