In the past, I was never 'caught up' on all of the competitions on the board before advents started, so always just felt overwhelmed by it. But this year, I am caught up and cannot wait for them to start! Bring on the utter chaos! Hahaha

There is something exciting about opening those doors!

I've not been well at all, for probably around 9 weeks now and although my comping picked up just before then, I just feel grotty and not really interested in any of it. So hoping I'll be fully recovered by then (if the doctors can agree what is going on with me!) and I can find some interest and be able to focus on competitions a bit more than now. 

When advents come around, I may be a little less picky as to what I enter, just to win a small prize from an advent is exciting!

I wish everyone the best of luck when they do eventually come around, but save some prizes for me!

The idea of the Advents is great  but the reality of entering lots and in my case only one win over the years means I always intend to be very selective with entries and time spent.

I don't wish to take over this post, but wanted to thank you for the comments and messages, they put a smile on my face in the middle of the night when I couldn't sleep. 4 courses of antibiotics and some examinations, because of the low vials available they don't want to do blood tests, but 9 weeks of struggling to breathe on and off is really getting to me, think I'll give up with the doctors, as feels like they have given up with me.

Back to the topic... It worked so much better I feel last year, now that the advents have their own section, I just hope with the lack of people posting, that there will be lots posted.
