I've got my own works email inbox, through outlook, but I also have access to a company shared inbox. I can get notifications of incoming on my own account, but not for the shared one.
Is there a way to solve this? (I actually need to know what's coming into the shared box more than I do my own)

It'll be alright in the end. If it's not alright, it's not the end....

I don't know what a "company shared inbox" is but one idea is to set up a rule to forward emails from the shared to your own inbox. Do you have the power to set up a rule on the shared inbox?0

A shared inbox is one that needs to be accessed by multiple people and you can add it as an "extra" inbox within your own profile.
I'm not sure if I forwarded it to myself that it wouldn't remove it completely, so that others who share the inbox wouldn't see it. Not sure on that though. It'll be alright in the end. If it's not alright, it's not the end....0 -
With forwarding, by default, mail shouldn't be deleted. There should be an option to keep/delete. The question is, do you have the authority to set rules up in the shared inbox?1

How are you receiving notifications?
Do you know how your companies email is hosted?
How are you accessing it?
Thanks

Well, for the shared inbox I'm not getting any notifications. I get the usual audio and visual ones for my own email inbox.CoastingHatbox said:How are you receiving notifications?

No idea how it is hosted. How would I find out (ask someone, I guess)
I'm using outlook (not the 365 online version)It'll be alright in the end. If it's not alright, it's not the end....0 -
I believe its meant not to announce new email to the shared account in Outlook, that's been the case since at least 2018.Some work around here:
