Would Travel Insurance cover cancellation of whole party if I member cannot travel

I am booking a holiday for myself, husband and grown uo son and daughter and their partners. I am lead and I am paying for the holiday.It is a fairly expensive holiday.
I am looking into how best to insure the party .

My main issue is that if one person is unable to travel for an I(nsured) reason such as illness or death of close relative, will any insurance policy cover the cost of cancelling and refunding the cost of all 6 holiday makers or just the cost of the one who is unable to travel.
As this is a family trip, if one person cannot go, none of us would want to.

You would need to check the wording of the specific policy.  Many refer to 'close family members' and list who that covers.

Yes, and successfully.  But that is the reason I said it is necessary to check the specific policy.

you would need a group policy which covers all members of the group.

Yes, very easy if you have all the correct paperwork and legwork in advance of making it.

Back to the question, it will be a case of checking the policy wording.
