Green Energy Gone Bust
I'm after a bit of advice as unsure what to do. I was with Green Energy and switched providers to Symbio in August. Since the switch both companies have gone bust. My credit balance with Symbio will be transferred to EON Next however Green Energy never sent me a final bill and I estimate owe me £200+ from the balance I had with them. I have tried contacting Green Energy but having no luck. Any ideas on what I should do to claim back the money owed? Thanks, James

Your Green credit will be dealt with by Green's Supplier of Last Resort (SoLR). Green's SoLR is Shell Energy (see this thread) and it is Shell that will be dealing with your refund. Be wearned that it could take several months.Worby81 said:I'm after a bit of advice as unsure what to do. I was with Green Energy and switched providers to Symbio in August. I switched away from Green to Sainsbury’s about a week before they went bust. During the switch was changed to Shell Energy. My Official switch date to Sainsbury’s was 2nd October but on 5th October Green took another direct debit from me.I want to make sure they don’t take another payment off me start of November, should I cancel direct debt or will that effect getting credit back.I contacted Shell and they just gave me a generic response that they still dealing with the changeover and could take some time.0
