Great!I posted my old passport, change of name deed and proof of using new name to the passport office yesterday morning and used RM SD by 1pm and it’s not delivered yet.It updated last night about 8pm and then no further updates.Bit worried in case they go missing.I’m hoping there’s been a glitch and the tracking is wrong.0

I found out why. There seems to have been an issue at the MC last night, so it might be a day late. He said to claim for the cost of sending though. They didn’t seem to know much. Is the details like the door number and postcode on the receipt the only information they input at the PO? They don’t input the full address or details of sender or return address?0

They don’t input the full address or details of sender or return address? The sender is expected to have put the return address on themselves - I usually add a small second label clearly marked 'from' when I send things via the Post Office (or indeed anywhere, even couriers) . I always hope that if something can't be delivered (and special is only held for a short while before returning if uncollected) that it gets back to me and not in a pile of parcels with no return details. None of this is needed to be input at point of sending. As for the recipient info, all they should need is a house/flat number and postcode to identify the property from the proof of posting.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. Thanks.Yeah, I put return information on the envelope the P.O. give me.I was just surprised that when I rang RM, they didn’t know my information and assumed return info like my name and address were inputted.0
