I have just recently lost a relative, but the ownership of a number of properties is unclear, its a long story but the history is important to get an overall picture, is this the right place for this post?

You are on the right board for such questions.Avenger2 said:I have just recently lost a relative, but the ownership of a number of properties is unclear, its a long story but the history is important to get an overall picture, is this the right place for this post?1 -
Which country England or Wales?
If so you can download property information from the Land Registry for £3 each.
HM Land Registry - GOV.UK (www.gov.uk)

Right place, but if it's a long story with a lot of history, you'll almost certainly need specialist legal advice, so there may not be much point posting it all here. Without seeing relevant documentation and knowing all the facts, you'll only get speculation (and more questions than answers!).Avenger2 said:I have just recently lost a relative, but the ownership of a number of properties is unclear, its a long story but the history is important to get an overall picture, is this the right place for this post?Googling on your question might have been both quicker and easier, if you're only after simple facts rather than opinions!1 -
Hi Keep pedalling, would it be possible to PM you, as this is particularly sensitive within the family?0

You need to be aware that none of us who post regularly on here are experts, and if the situation is complex the general advice is to take professional advice. Although I have no objection to receiving a PM I think you should start by giving an overview of the situation here.Avenger2 said:Hi Keep pedalling, would it be possible to PM you, as this is particularly sensitive within the family?0
